It’s NOT soft, awful!
Hard to chew, might break a tooth or 2. Very poor flavor as well. Eat at your own risk 😁 terrible product, don’t buy!

Not great
I’ve had this before and it was soft and chewy with a good flavor. I ordered this multi pack to share with family and have some for myself. Unfortunately I’m stuck with a batch of almost stain tough to chew licorice, which is very disappointing. Can’t return. Won’t do that again.

Worth the Wait
I was a fan of this brand earlier but had some trouble sourcing the snack in stores lately so after finally receiving my order of the 8pack, it was totally worth the wait. (I ordered it alone) Its shipped container was pretty sturdy, the packaging is as pictured without appearing to be old stock, and the edibility is what I remembered — soft and chewy with a nice fruity flavor. I would purchase again. Generally, other licorice brands taste a bit like plastic to me so I’m hoping RJ’s never changes their recipe.

HARD AS A ROCK, AND EXPIRED
This so-called soft eating licorice nearly broke my tooth. I then checked the expiration date and, of course, it was expired, which maybe explains the fact that it was rock hard. Nasty stuff. Refund will be requested.Just checked the return policy, only to find it’s not available for return/replacement/refund. And yet I was sent a product that was already expired. This is criminal and Amazon needs to do something about it.

They taste great but they’re not as soft as you’d think since that’s right on the front of the package.

NOT Soft
The flavor was good but it was not soft. I’d compare it to jerky, I had to basically tear it with my teeth if I didn’t want to swallow it whole. I’m disappointed.

Disappointed ex-fan
I used to love these. So tasty, so soft. I’d get them and hide them so I wouldn’t have to share. But the last few bags I’ve bought — over a period of months — have been hard and covered in a white crust I guess is from the sugar. It’s like my local WFs has had the same lot in stock for way too long. I won’t buy again, at least not delivered. Maybe if I can get to the store and squeeze the bag to see if they’re soft … but I don’t have a lot of faith.

Ehh, Not a Fan!
I really like their black licorice, but this raspberry flavor I am definitely not a fan of. It’s not very soft, almost feels stale and it has a very strange taste to it….almost like cough syrup! I can’t eat some of the other licorice that is out there because it’s usually hard as a rock which is why I tried these. But I think I will just stick to the black licorice, the raspberry is definitely not for me.

Great Allsorts Licorice
The only negative was that palm oil was listed in the ingredients. They really did not need to use it. The RJ’s black licorice is the best in the world. No palm oil there.

Best Licorice candy ever!
I personally don’t like Licorice candy, but my wife loves it, so I occasionally buy them at the store when they are in stock. Due to covid-19 we have not been to a store for some time and delivery service we use doesn’t have them. So I decided to order these from Amazon. And this was worth every penny. My wife told me these were the best candy she ever had! I was curious so I tried one too and… they are indeed really good.

This licorice is the opposite of soft!
It’s very tough, not soft at all. Almost like it went stale. The flavor is very bland as well.

Yummy
I love this licorice. I fell in love with it after finding it in the grocery store once years ago, but could never find it there again. I purchased it here off Amazon with little hope since it’s food, but was gratefully surprised at how amazing it is. The box comes with several bags, so you defiently get your moneys worth. Will be buying again eventually when this runs out. Great buy.

This licorice is so tough its on the MOHs Hardness scale
Big fan of red licorice but the type I like is always sold out or out of stock locally. Ordered this because it was described as healthy and soft-eating. Tore open the bag, popped one in my mouth and my teeth literally bounced off it. My jaw is clicking trying to gnaw thru this. There’s like five gemstones on the MOHs scale softer than this licorice. I’m gonna save a piece and use it to keep a tiny door open.

This is not soft licorice.
This licorice is far from soft. Twizzlers is a lot softer and has more flavor. It comes in some pretty big pieces to. They are 1 1/2″ x 1/2″. I don’t think i would give them to kids as it would be a choking hazard.

No raspberry flavor
Guess I thought it would have more berry flavor like cherry and strawberry licorice. Didn’t read the description good enough, perhaps its because its a plant base product?

Very delicious and fresh, but too expensive.
This candy was good and fresh, and I like it’s “healthyish” ingredients, but it’s a bit to expensive to continue buying more at this time.

subtle flavor but good
I found these strangely addicting. At first taste, they had such a faint taste that I wasn’t sure I liked them. They also weren’t super soft. I mean, they’re not like starbursts or anything. However, I found myself wanting more, and appreciating the subtle flavor. It’s sometimes nice to find sweets that aren’t too sweet or flavorful, as they become more like a snack. I also liked the fact that they didn’t stick to my teeth very much. I plan to re-order!

Bad batch but ….
I got a batch that was hard as a rock even though it was well within date. I had also ordered the mango flavor from a different seller but exact same brand and it was excellent, soft and delicious. So somewhere along the way during processing a hard batch of raspberry got through QA. I contacted the company and they gave me a refund for the raspberry ones. Amazon doesn’t offer return on this item but the licorice company can do it from their end. They were excellent and promptly took care of me. Will buy again!

Not Bad.
The other reviews made it seem that this licorice was biting into a rock. I think the adjective hard is not the correct one. I am more inclined to state that it is more firm, especially if you are used to the softness of red vines. The other thing that no one seems to speak about in their reviews is how the flavor tastes. I’m very fond of raspberry flavoring but never had it in licorice form. If you like swedish fish like I do then you will be absolutely happy to find out that the flavors do compare, with RJ’s not flavoring being as strong. If you are looking for a treat that has limited ingredients I would definitely give these a try.

I Eat an Embarrassing Amount of This
OMG – my life changed as I ran into the store to stock up for a weekend road trip. Saw these on a whim, bought 2 bags and ate one of them in just a few hours. That sadly hasn’t changed much and I go through several of these a week. When I purchase this from the grocery, it’s usually fresh and chewy but doesn’t give a stale texture. Those were purchased online from amazon and you can tell they’ve been sitting around for a while. It didn’t stop me from indulging, but my jaw is a bit sore. If anyone at RJ’s is reading this, I’m happy to take any surplus so they don’t go stale 🙂

This stuff is so good
I’m trying to eat healthier, but I’ve learned that completely denying my sweet tooth never works, and denying my sweet tooth includes trying to eat gross healthy versions of snacks that taste like cardboard. This is a good compromise. As far as candies go, this is about as healthy as you can get, and it still tastes amazing. I tried the mango flavored too, and it’s good, but raspberry is by far my favorite.

Won’t be buying this on Amazon any more!
This licorice is delicious. I have ordered it multiple times on Amazon and. It was great. The bag I received today was stale, hard, didn’t look the correct color and I had to throw it away. I’ll buy this from the store from now on. Awful.

It is NOT soft.
Licorice is not soft at all despite being advertised as such. It’s actually much harder than common store-bought brands. The pieces are large and bulky. Raspberry “flavor” is basically non-existent. Very disappointed.

Excellent Licorice Allsorts …
I’ve been a fan of licorice Allsorts since I was a child. I’ve always liked licorice, and the addition of the colored/flavored fondant layers along with the sprinkle-covered nuggets just made it a lot more fun. This is the 3rd brand I’ve tried from Amazon, and it’s by far my favorite. The candy that arrived in the packages I received was fresh (the “best by” date is 9 months out), nicely packaged, and truly yummy. It’s a nice treat to end a meal, and it takes only a couple of pieces to satisfy my “Allsorts” urge.I initially ordered this as a “one-time” purchase. I just added it to my “subscribe & save” list to start next month. Compared to the other brands I’ve tried, this one is the keeper.

I REALLY like the mango licorice by RJs, so I figured I’d try the raspberry. It’s OK, but the mango is much better.

Taste Good, but NOT Licorice
These have more of a fruity taste with a hint of coconut, and are generally very good. However, they are NOT traditional Licorice Allsorts, as a matter of fact there isn’t even a hint of licorice flavor. But for what they are, they do taste good and are more kid friendly that black licorice.

Bad Batch?
I opened my bag of treats today. Best Before date of 20 Feb 2025. My treats are so hard and rubbery that I can’t even bite a chunk off. All I could do is leave tooth dents. I have to assume that this was a bad batch.
