Love this.
I absolutely love this stuff. It tastes just like diet Dr. Pepper to me. I love having a soda stream and I like being able to make pop whenever I want it and put in whatever amount of flavor I want. I can also mix this with other flavors. It costs less than buying cans of soda.

Not Quite Fresca…But It’s Not Bad!
I have a Fresca addiction, and I’m not afraid to admit it. I also have a SodaStream, and I was trying to find a substitute for Fresca. This was hard to find, because it seemed like it was always out of stock. It was worth the wait, though. Like the headline says, it’s not quite Fresca. It has a slightly stronger pink grapefruit flavor, but it’s still pretty refreshing. I would definitely buy it again.

Love this stuff – Second purchase disappointing
Former Coke Zero drinker, but stopped buying it when the prices got so high. This tastes just as good to me, maybe better, and I don’t have to spend as much.Update: bought this for a second time and this time was disappointed. The bottles were leaking and obviously had been long before shipping as there were dried specks of syrup along with the still wet syrup. I didn’t trust they were safe to consume, so I tossed them. Amazon gave me a full refund. Kinda put me off this brand, to be honest, not confident in the quality/safety of their products.

Dr Pete, better than Dr Pepper? Yes, yes it is.
First ingredient on the label is sugar. Not corn syrup, S U G A R. Consistently better taste and ironically enough less calories. Does contain sucralose, which isn’t a deal breaker to me because it doesn’t have that artificial sweetener taste. When I’m feeling fancy I’ll mix 1 part grenadine to 9 parts syrup for a cherry Dr Pepper taste.

Not as good tasting as Crush Soda
I bought this for my Art Soda Stream machine hoping to get the same flavoring as Crush Orange soda. It’s close, but not quite as flavorful. I wish I could have just bought one container to try first vs a 4 pack, but I’ll still drink it. Just beware that once you make a bottle of this, it really only stays fully carbonated about 1 1/2-2 days…then it starts to loose it’s fizz. (you can’t refizz your bottle either).

Messy
The flavor is passable. Definitely not a Coca Cola substitute.But the bottle design is impossible to use without creating a mess. The bottle measuring cap is the problem. It sticks too far into the bottle, and gets coated with the syrup. Sodastream should design a screw on cap for the syrup bottles so that the bottle can be tilted upside down, with the spout being able to be inserted inserted into the bottle of carbonated water.They need something so that the user can dispense the syrup without it being dispensed both into the bottle and on the countertop.

So Tasty!
This is so tasty. It’s a light flavor, but so good. When I first got it, I did not read the instructions carefully and put too much in the sparkling water bottle, but even that was good – not overpowering at all. Plus it makes a mean light cocktail with vodka and a little lime squeeze if you’re looking for a mixed drink that isn’t high in sugar or calories.

Honest 0 calorie root beer review
I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about praising this low calorie root beer, i don’t know if the recipe has changed or what but this stuff is defiantly not great. i don’t even know if I would call it “ok” the after taste is horrible. I do not think it taste like any root beer i have had, and im a fan of barq;s and A&W. but alas i have 3.5 bottles of this to go through now 🙁

Diet flavors mostly okay
I’ve had all the diet flavors, for the most part they taste very much like store brand equivalents. Not bad, not gonna blow your socks off.The diet grapefruit is the best one. It’s close enough to fresca. By far the best one.Diet cola, diet root beer, diet orange, and diet lemon lime are pretty good. Dead ringers for off brand soda.Diet ginger ale is pretty bad. It lacks much ginger flavor and it’s mostly just too sweet. By far the most disappointing and if this one was better, I’d give them 4 stars collectively.

I have a subscription for this product. it is the closest I have found for a Sprite style flavor for Soda stream. the have gotten a four pack a couple of times. the only negative is that last shipment. The outer box was fine. but a couple of the bottles lids inside were loose enough to leak some.

Tastes like Sour Patch Kids
My son loves Orange Crush and Sunkist orange pop. When we got a soda maker, I looked hard to find an orange syrup for him. When he tried this, he immediately said “This tastes just like Sour Patch Kids!” He has braces and isn’t able to eat his favorite candy, so he was very happy about this. He’s happy, I’m happy.

Flavor Has Changed
I’ve been drinking this Sugar-Free version for about 6 months now, because I have to watch my sugar and carb intake. Usually I love the flavor but this recent batch/order seems to have a metallic taste to it. YUCK! I’m not sure what happened. And the labeling changed too. I wonder if it’s the same formula? If it has, I may have to change brands.

Product is good, but Amazon delivery continuously causes problems
I regularly order Dr. Pete because sales here are the cheapest I can find soda stream flavors and it’s got less sugar the Dr. Pepper, but I think Amazon’s fulfillment causes an issue for me more times than not.Three separate times they’ve delivered expired product (you can definitely taste a difference / it does go bad). Amazon support is pretty good at refund or replace, but it’s an annoying inconvenience.It’s also worth noting the new bottle design from soda stream doesn’t really seal well, so bottles need to be stored upright. This is clearly shown on their box, but Amazon often packages this in another box with an up arrow in a different direction so all the bottles are stored on their side and the result is a sticky mess that is delivered where 10% of your soda is on the outside of the bottles and stuck to the box it came in and because it gets under the label it’s very hard to clean .Attached picture is 24 hours after cleaning off the outside of the bottles when they were delivered (I wish I took a picture, but my hands were sticky). It is still weeping through the perforations in the label of the unopened bottles. I think I’ll need to fully remove the labels and clean the bottles before I can put them in my cabinet.Product is great, Amazon is not the ideal place to buy it if you can get it locally easily.

We found this syrup in a store and decided to try it.He now loves our Sodastream. :)This 4-pack was the price of 2 bottles of the syrup at the store where we found it. Once you tweak the amount to add to carbonated water, it’s good!
Everyone has their own specific taste preferences for a Dr. Pepper knock-off. I like both Kroger’s diet Dr. K as well as diet Mr. Pibb as alternates to Dr. Pepper when I purchase a carton of the canned soda. But with a knock off soda stream machine – mine is just as easy – have two large bottles I fill with cold, filtered water and then stick under the machine part that holds the large CO2 canister, press the piece that delivers the bubbles to the water. I use 12 oz paper cups to make my own soda with this concentrated Dr. Pete to carbonated water and I’ve learned on the inside cap of the Dr. Pete, to pour to about 1/4th an inch of that etched line and that will give me the deep, rich flavor that is similar to Dr. Pepper. I’m happy with the size of these bottles – I’ll be able to make many, many cups of my favorite soda flavor!

Opened box
I opened my package and found that my Dr. Pete box was open, and there was syrup all over the bottles and a few of the other bottles that were in the package. I had to spend ten minutes cleaning them, having to also take the label off of the Dr. Pete bottle so I could clean under them and wipe up under the cap. Was not happy that this had happened.

My favorite thing to drink that I really should not consume
Every once in awhile I like to have a sugary soda. I know it is not good at all for anyone’s health but in moderation its okay. I buy this and mix it with the lemon lime flavored syrup. The lemon lime goes on sale for way less and if I mix this half and half then it is just as good as full strength and saves me money. This tastes better than the other corporate brands in my opinion.I do recommend you try this either diluted or full strength, it is yummy!

I was gifted a SodaStream 2 years ago solely because I love Bubly/LaCroix-type waters I would often buy generics and was having to chase down which store to return the specific generic empties.After a few months during a Bed Bath and Beyond sale I picked up some Diet Dr Pete and it knocked my socks off!I have been drinking it for a year with my sparkling water. My parents got me a Soda Stream for Christmas because I drink a lot of sparkling mineral water and put a bit flavored syrup in it and I thought it would be a great way to save money. It is. Turns out it’s also a great way to save money on soda. I also love cherry soda and discovered SodaStream makes soda syrup. While it doesn’t taste exactly like Cherry Coke, it’s good enough for the amount of money I’m saving and the way less sugar and calories it has. Seriously with the price of soda now, these syrups and the CO2 cartridges will be cheaper in the long run.

Soda stream flavor syrup.?
It is hard to see the measuring cup inside the lid . It may be easier to use a standard measuring cup .I have a Soda Stream machine and the syrup works well with the soda water .The flavor is excellent but sweet . You may want to use a smaller measure .It is excellent value for money.

HECK…YEAH…!!!!!!
This is for the Pink Grapefruit.OK, for starters I have to admit that I’m a child of the 70s and a complete dork.I hated Tab, but I absolutely LOVE Fresca.My kids gave me a Soda Stream for Father’s Day three years ago, and I’ve been looking for a Fresca syrup the whole time. I guess to be honest, I stopped looking a couple years ago, so “the whole time” isn’t really true. To back up a minute, my kids got me the Soda Stream to get me to cut down on my single-use consumer plastic output. Fine. But I finally saw this as an opportunity to quit drinking so much soda. So I guess I quit looking for Fresca syrup and opted to fall in love with plain soda water. And yes, I really really really really love the soda water. But then I looked again recently and I FOUND THIS!!!!Yes, it’s the holy grail that I sought for however long I actually searched and however long ago I was actually searching.The point is, I FINALLY FOUND THIS!!!!It’s my long sought-after Fresca substitute.Different than other flavors, this one is pretty strong. I typically fill my other flavors up pretty full in the measuring cap, but this one doesn’t need so much. I just fill this up halfway to the lowest line on the cap, and it makes the water taste as Fresca-ish as I need it to.I guess I’m rambling. I shouldn’t be this excited, but I am. I think I already disclosed that I’m a dork. That doesn’t mean that my opinion is off-base. My point is, if you love Fresca and you’re a Soda Stream aficionado, then look no further. This is the juice for you (and me).
