    Not as sturdy as I was hoping for.

    I bought these to replace the bottles that came with the soda shop. They were always tipping over and off if the counter. This set looked much sturdier than the originals. They are not, they tip over just as easily. They all seem to have rounded bottoms.

    Does not hold fizz well.

    The bottle seems fine but the new cap is less durable than the older versions. The new bottles only hold the fizz for a day and then the water is flat. The older bottles could last a week and hold their fizz.

    A bit expensive but well-made

    I made the mistake a while back of buying the fancier shape of bottle only to have them top all over in the fridge half the time. I like these because they have more balance to them and stay upright. Not as cheap as they used to be. If they had offered Twice the number of bottles for a discount I would’ve been happier. But they do what I expected them to.

    Will it last?

    I was surprised. Apparently newer bottles now have very, very thin walls, about half the thickness. It squeezes and feels equivalent to a 1.5 liters soda pop you get at the supermarket. For this reason, I don’t think they are durable naumore and would recommend you keep your older SodaStream bottles and just buy a replacement cap..

    A little shorter but may not be as air tight

    Fits the rack in my refrigerator as it is shorter than the original bottles I have. Not sure if they hold the fizz as well but I will make sure I tighten more securely.

    Poor shipping quality control

    The product is good as expected for soda stream bottles. My problem is that one bottle did not have a cap. I did not send back as I had a cap from a previous bottle.

    I have a terra and these bottles are better than the one that came with the machine. They fit well and I like that the stem of the machine extends into the water a little so I can see when the CO2 has stopped bubbling into the water.

    No caps

    As mentioned by dozens of other reviews, it does not come with caps/lids. Many say they were only missing one… Mine actually didn’t come with a single lid.Not a huge deal as I am replacing my old and can use that lid. The second I’m giving to my sister and she can do the same but buyer beware this does NOT come with a cap/lid.Other than that these are the classic bottles that are 10 inches tall rather than the new ones that are 11 inches.

    Easy to clean except the bottom…

    Just make sure you clean immediately! Don’t use the dishwasher unless every dish in there is spotless first. Don’t let it soak ever! The holes in the bottom will let dirt and grime get up in the tight spaces, and even using a straw brush will just push it further. Otherwise they work great!

    warped after two dishwasher runs

    right in line with the title, two runs through the dishwasher and the top of the bottle is starting to warp substantially. for those of you who have not bought these before, they are labeled as dishwasher safe, then the next label states to not use them when warped. my last bottle lasted at least six months before damaging, and if these newer ones keep cratering like it is, it will become more cost justifiable to go back to cans.

    Okay bottles…not dishwasher friendly

    Not intended for dishwashers….as it totally ruins the bottle. Don’t place these bottles in the sand when at the beach as it is difficult to remove the sand in the bottom sleeve.

    Warped in dishwasher

    The cool thing about these bottles is since you only use water, they don’t need to be washed frequently, a good rinse will do. This product did ok until I put it in the dishwasher. As it is meant to be dishwasher safe, I’m very confused. The dishwasher settings were normal, no extra heat or dry boost, normal settings. So why did it warp and become oddly shaped? Why does it seem to not be dishwasher safe? I’d love to get a refund if I could, but it seems I’m too late.

    Missing lid-Good Bottle-Review specific to how Amazon handled

    I was excited to receive these bottles as I have loved my new soda stream however when they arrived one was missing a lid. When I tried to return to Amazon they refused, even thought the page said free returns. I had to use the costumer service app and send 20 minutes just to get a replacement sent. This was a product sent specifically from Amazon. They need to honor their products and if something is sent broken or missing parts of should be easy to exchange.That being said the product is good, when it arrived as ordered.

    Surdy and dishwasher safe!!!

    Can we just take a moment to hold in our hearts with endearment, those who are making our fav products dishwasher safe? Love my soda stream and have been using it for years but hated that I had to scrub out the inside of the bottles by hand, they get cleaned so well in the dishwasher and I’ve had a second set for a year or so now and the bottles have held up great through all the washings.

    2 bottles,one cap

    As many have stated before in reviews, we have received 2 bottles but, only one has a cap. We haven’t used the bottles yet being that we just received them. Not sure why some people are getting both caps and, others are only getting one. Once we try them, I will update the review.

    Replaced my old warped ones finally

    I have used Sodda Stream for over 10 years and the original bottles it came with were warped a beat from heat by leaving them too close to a stove one time. Also we had lost one of the tops that screw on so I thought it was time to replace the orignal ones. These work great, I flet they just cost a bit much for a platic bottle but it what I need to work with the soda stream machine so I got them and now have 2 new botttles and an older warped one as a backup.

    Great replacement SodaStream bottles

    These are great replacement bottles for most SodaStream products because they are dishwasher safe, not hand wash only. The shape of the shoulders are more square than the original bottles I had, but the diameter and height are still roughly the same. And, again: they are dishwasher safe.

    Expires in 18 months not the 2 years advertised.

    Product arrived with an expiry of 10/25 (18 months time) if you use after expiry they can burst on use, so I was disappointed to see this item arrived with a short date

    excellent quality and very reliable expiration in 2 years not 3 as advertised

    The expiration date on these bottles is extremely important to check so that you are not injured by an exploding bottle. From the factory they are supposed to last 3 years. The new ones I received had an expiration date 2 years from now. They have been sitting in storage for a year. If Sodastream monitors Amazon reviews, I suggest you offer a discount on this inventory.

    These are fantastic for any of you who have melted your non DWS bottles

    So I made the mistake of putting 2 of our bottles in our dishwasher and completely melted them. Yup had the Sodastream for 8 years, had a momentary lapse of reason and melted them. When I was looking for new ones, I saw the DWS but wasn’t sure what it was until I started reading the description and it said Dishwasher Safe so I was ecstatic about that! Ordered a twin pack and wow these are clearer with a slight ting of blue. Our old ones may just have gotten old but there is a difference in color. Very happy with these and glad I found the DWS versions.

    Not as heavy duty as the ones with silver bottom. Have to pay attention when putting the cap on. Make sure it’s tight. Otherwise you loose the fizz

    Extra soda stream bottle

    These are a little bit shorter than the two bottles that came with our soda stream. It is nicer because it fits better in our fridge. The only down side is that it doesn’t fit in our cup holders in the car now.

    The wait is worth it

    What a steal of a deal these bad boys are. I love that they are dishwasher safe and have a larger capacity. They were a little scrapped up when I received them and the sleeve they came in was ripped to shreds but shipping took quite a while and I couldn’t wait for a replacement to be sent. I would listen to the other reviews, its a hit or miss on the condition. But all in all they work for the purpose I purchased them for.

    Dishwasher approved

    I used to put my old bottles in the dishwasher despite the warning not to. On the top shelf they were always safe. My old bottles went missing, so I upgraded to the new (dishwasher safe!!) bottles. I went completely feral and washed them both on the bottom rack and they’re still good as new.

    1 bottle was not enough

    since Crystal geyser stopped selling their sparkling water, I needed a different source. I did not want cand club sodas. as they don’t tase the same and the bottled versions out now were way more expensive. I needed a solution. so, I hacked a SodaStream to get more carbonated water. It worked great but ran into a problem, 1 bottle for 3 people was not working. SO, I got these. I have to admit, WE drink a lot of seltzer water. and the extra bottles help a lot. Tip for the SodaStream. to get the best bubblies, Fill the bottles up with water and place into the Frige to chill the water, then carbonate after the water is cold.

    Improved from old weeble-wobble style

    Who knew SodaStream bottles actually expire? I didn’t until I got these. So it sort of made sense then that the original bottle we’d gotten with our machine had started leaking CO2 out of the lid and needed to be replaced.The original bottle wasn’t great. It had a narrow base, so it was always falling over in our fridge when we stored it on the door shelf. I hated that about it. I had to wedge it into the back where it was locked into position with other, better balanced bottles.These new bottles have a wider, flatter base. And they aren’t falling over the way the old bottle did.Otherwise, it’s pretty much the same. Fits our manual pump stream that has a pop ‘n lock (not screw in) connection…don’t know if these work with those older models.Like this. Do wish they had bigger, less expensive glass bottle options. Would like to get away from the plastic.

    Buyer beware

    Imagine the manufacturer is fine, but was sent previously opened products with missing caps from amazon. This was clear at a glance. There is no way to justify shipping a clearly and easily identifiable damaged/incomplete product.

    Good replacement, but expiration date is only 1.5 years from the day I received them

    Be sure to check the expiration date that is printed on the plastic bottles. They are supposed to be good for two years, but mine only had 1.5 years left in their assumed life.
