After having Guarana on my trips to Brazil, I was hooked! This is the ONLY carbonated drink I’ll have. I bought some for my son and a Diet version for my diabetic grandson. His favorite drink! I’ve tried other brands of Guarana, but no others compare to Antarctica! Obrigado!!!

Better than expected
I bought these as a last minute “why not” while checking out with some other food items. I soon realized how great I feel when consuming Guarana! I feel calm, at peace, contemplative, and it’s easier to recall words when forming a sentence so I tend to speak with a more advanced vocabulary. It’s like my mind is stimulated but not my body so i’m able to sit calmly. Coffee makes me fidgety so i’m seriously considering a guarana supplement after I finish this case of soda. Overall these Guarana soda’s are great and i’d recommend everyone try them.Oh, and they used actual sugar instead of artificial sweeteners so it tastes like sweetened carbonated water with a very mild hint of cherry and citrus.

Love the soda (great flavor!), but a bit expensive and packaging is lacking
I first came across this soda at Fogo de Chao, and I loved it so much that I was elated to see this on Amazon. Since then, we have been ordering this via Subscribe and Save, and the experience with it has been mixed, to say the least.To start with the positives:1. The soda flavor is exactly what I expected and love. I have heard that the ones sold in glass bottles (I have yet to see one in the US) is better flavored, accordingly to a friend of mine who lived in Brazil for a long time, but I really know the flavor from the canned, and it is by far my favorite soda. It is better with ice (and a slice of lemon/lime if you have it laying around), but even directly from the can, is is great.2. I feel like the price is fair for a product that is very difficult to find elsewhere, though it is a bit expensive compared to other sodas.3. It is eligible for Subscribe and Save, which adds convenience to us (we just have it set to deliver every month).Now, the reason for the two stars off despite the above has everything to do with packaging. This problem is probably exacerbated for us by the fact that we get it as part of the Subscribe and Save package, but I have never(!) seen this come completely intact other than when this was the only product shipped in the box. If this is packaged together with something else, the 12-can is shipped as-is, without any additional wrapping on top of it, which has always caused at least half the cans to be damaged and leaking the soda onto the other items in that box. This more or less makes the Subscribe and Save useless (to ensure that you only get this item shipped separately), which makes the discount useless as well.I would hope that they fix the packaging, especially when it is shipped with other products, so that it is wrapped better (even something like a couple layers of bubble wrap should be more than enough in my opinion), as that would easily make this 5 stars. In the meantime though, I would recommend that you only order this single item in your order, to ensure that this is the only thing that gets put in the box, which should greatly raise the probability of it arriving intact.

Well, l saw this soda way back. Never heard of it before. From Mexico?The reviews made it appealing. l have been tempted in buying it for months !But wouldn’t because l had feared. I just didn’t want to be out of $15.What if it tastes terrible and l wasted over $15 ?Once again, l was tempted this month again. I read the reviews again but l feared. What if my taste is different from theirs? l suffer with Acid reflex, what if l get sick?!But this time l wanted to take a gamble. I thought l just have to take a leap of faith. No harm no gain.I just had to find out for myself if this is any good.Well…it arrived today and l waited several hours. It needed to be iced cold for my liking.Well…. l have to say it’s OUTSTANDING !!VERY VERY GOOD! GREAT TASTING!THE FLAVOR IS WELL BALANCED UNLIKE SPRITE WITH THAT TOO MUCH ACID TASTE. I first had Guarana on my several trips to Brazil. I forgot just how good it was. I stumbled upon it on Amazon, and had to buy it. The flavor is hard to describe…..maybe a cross between cream soda and gingerale?????? No matter how it is described, it is delicious. Have to get the Antartica brand for sure. It brings back very fond memories of my time in Brazil.

The GOAT of sodas. Globally. There’s nothing as good, and 2nd Place is really far back. I wish it was cheaper because I’d just keep it stocked in my refrigerator full time, but alas… it’s a treat. I reckon import/export isn’t budget friendly. Still… it’s worth it.

I buy 1 case roughly once a month. It consistently arrives on-time, undamaged, fresh (not expired), & delicious!It wouldn’t hurt if the case was a couple bux cheaper, though!I love that Guaraná is Coca-Cola’s biggest competitor in Brazil- I think it actually does surpass coca-cola sales.I saw one of their ads once: it shows an amazing view of nature where we can see guaraná fruit growing on the trees……. they say that this is where Guaraná Antarctica comes from……and then they show this grey little can of coke…..and ask ‘where does THIS come from??'”Which is brilliant because there’s no way to make high-fructose corn syrup soda sound appealing lol.This soda tastes like nothing else I’ve ever had before, and that helps make it especially enjoyable; it’s not a common item at your gas station or store.Unless you go to your international grocery store(s), which is how I discovered Guaraná!

Really tasty.. one of the best zero sugar diet sodas I’ve tasted..
First off, it’s fantastic. It’s one of the better zero sugar diet sodas I have tasted. The flavor kind of resembles a mild cherry. I would definitely buy this again and even though I’m on a zero sugar kick, and really trying to cut out soda I do want to try the regular flavor.The only thing I do not like is the use of aspartame as an artificial sweetener. There’s a false review on Amazon that says this is made with real cane sugar, but it’s false. I read the ingredients. You can see a picture of the ingredients in the listing.Amazon refuses to remove the review which contains false information. Instead they delete my review.

One of my favorite sodas
When I was younger I lived in an area with high diversity for a relatively small, nearly rural area. My step-father was Brazilian and often shared his food and culture with my mother and I. I went to college, and despite college being huge and near multiple cities, the diversity in food was lacking. Every visit home, I enjoyed a coxina and a pastel de queijo, and a guarana soda (Of course I participated in Brazilian bbq as well, but coxina and pastel have my heart). I lived back at home before spreading my wings and moving states away to Maine.I love it here and the people are kinder than anywhere I’ve ever lived, but if I thought diversity was lacking elsewhere I was wrong. Two years into living here and I started to crack.I began to google what foods I could have shipped here and stumbled across my favorite soda, Guarana Antarctica, on Amazon. I was hesitant about ordering soda off the internet, but my heart and taste buds got the better of me. The price at the time broke down to about a dollar a can which is less than it would have cost in the boteco. I couldn’t argue and ordered it. Now it’s on my subscribe and save list- no cans were damaged, nothing was overshaken or flat, and it was the same flavor I remember from my hometown.It’s nice to have a piece of home and family get shipped to my door.

Product itself is great, packaging is bad
This was my third order of the soda, and one of the cans had been crushed to the point of puncture and the liquid had seeped out in the warehouse. The neighboring cans were sticky, the can itself was empty (and crushed on one side) but the box was clean along with my other amazon items. Just a heads up about shipping issues: I’ll never order with other items, and risk those getting leaky soda on them, but will defiantly order again. The flavor and carbonation are just like I have it in Brazil and this is my best option as the current moment.

Was sent sugar free version of product. Regular drink was ordered! Thanks for nothing! Other then that the soda is very popular and good- when the right version is sent.

Crisp, Delicious, takes me back to Brazil!
My favorite thing to drink in Brazil is the Guaraná. Ohhhh, how I love this pop! So refreshing and delicious! This product came quickly, undamaged, and packaged nicely. Tastes delicious. Definitely a great price and great quality.

Scrumptiously different drink
Bought this to compliment some booze drinks for a UFC 302 party. Everyone loved the unique flavor, even the non-soda drinkers. I’ll definitely be getting this again on certain occasions.

Cakes and Guarana: the perfect combination. Took me back to my childhood. Although I don’t really drink it on a daily basis, on the rare occasions I do, it tastes exactly as the ones I used to have in Brazil.

Careful IF you order Additional items the 12 packs
No issue with the quality of these, they are the real deal, not flat, old, seemingly fresh.I ordered them WHEN the Weather Was NOT HOT; was in the Spring and Autumn.They were not sitting on a delivery truck in a 100 + degree day (was mid 70s to 80s F. I recall).CAUTION ABOUT TERRIBLE PACKAGING BY AMAZON:I ordered two 12 packs, twice.First order was ONLY two 12 packs.They shipped great, 2 in a box, fit great, no issues (a near glove fit shipping box, robust too).Second order, two 12 packs plus 1 bottle of razor oil, 2 electric razors (large shipping box with all items bouncing around within).2 cans leaking, ALL over the OTHER ITEMS IN THE SAME SHIPPING BOX (box damaged at outside, minor pressure on soda can = thanks amazon for boxing these together).My new Panasonic razors that were carelessly placed, packaged in the ONE shipping box with these awkward, heavy, and seemingly delicate (aluminum soda can under pressure) 12 packs were sticky but still functioned OK.This item, the delicious flavor of Brazil’s Amazon fruit AND real sugar (not corn syrup) yummy.It’s refreshing, and some say gives a bit of energy kick (from the guarana fruit). I don’t, nor ever have noticed that aspect, only the unique flavor of this drink.It’s as good as if you were in Brazil, as I recall from my travels there many times.Tudo Bem!!Buy this, you will like it!Considering you only find this stuff in Brasil (or specialty stores few and far between in the US); It can be obtained “mostly” easily and without HOPEFULLY issue (only order 1 or 2, 12 packs at any one time) from online ordering (can’t go to Kroger to find this stuff), the price is not terrible.It’s the Risk of Shipping these.You may suffer some loss, a can or 2 perhaps, which will quickly escalate the cost of each can unfortunately.Do NOT order more than TWO 12 packs at any one time, do NOT add anything else to the order!!I just ordered 2 more today, hopefully Amazon ships them as they did last year, autumn, 2 in a box, all was great.

Worth it occasionally
One of my favorite beverages. Shame it’s expensive but it’s a really nice treat occasionally. Tastes super clean for a soda. If you like ginger ale or sprite but tastes cleaner like Mexican coke, this is it. Real sugar so not as thick as high fructose corn syrup. I just randomly discovered it on here and it’s been the best discovery.
